After some logo artwork emerged online last week<\/a>, the Need for Speed developer has debunked the rumours, saying that there is no such game in the works.<\/p>\n

Criterion Games\u2019 creative director Alex Ward was the man to shatter dreams, and took to Twitter to express his views.<\/p>\n

Ward also added \u201cSequels. Reboots. Remakes. Been there. Done that,\u201d in a second tweet.<\/p>\n

The original rumours of an NFS: Undrground reboot emerged when a number of Criterion employee\u2019s Linkedin profiles listed an \u201cunannounced\u201d 2013 racing title, with a mysterious image then being sent to EGM, which showed a newly designed Need for Speed: Underground logo.<\/p>\n
