While we all look up to some of the heroes which front our favourite games, they\u2019re not perfect.<\/p>\n

MyGaming has consulted with medical specialists* regarding which disorders and problems video game protagonists are faced with; and while it\u2019s sad to see, it\u2019s also good to know that nobody has it all.<\/p>\n

Nathan Drake<\/h3>\n

Condition:<\/strong> OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)<\/p>\n

The good-looking and super-lucky treasure hunter gets the adventurous lifestyle and girls many dream of, but it\u2019s not all it\u2019s cracked up to be.<\/p>\n

Nathan suffers from severe OCD, as he continually chases mystery and treasure, despite the toll it takes on himself and his loved ones.<\/p>\n

Isaac Clarke<\/h3>\n

Condition:<\/strong>\u00a0Hallucinations<\/p>\n

The world\u2019s unluckiest engineer has had one of the worst cases of hallucinations thrust upon him.<\/p>\n

By making contact with a Necromorph Marker, Isaac sees and hears things that aren\u2019t really there, and it doesn\u2019t help that there are some pretty freakish creatures hovering over his shoulder too.<\/p>\n

Mario and Peach<\/h3>\n

Condition:<\/strong> Gametophobia<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to decide which one of these two has Gametophobia (the fear of marriage), as they both seem to be the guilty party for not finally sealing the deal.<\/p>\n

Whether its Mario avoiding a commitment to Peach because of his other activities, or the royal Peach shying away from marrying a lowly plumber, one thing is for sure – they both have serious commitment issues. It\u2019s been almost 30 years now; c\u2019mon guys!<\/p>\n

This has never, ever, happened.<\/p><\/div>\n

Sonic<\/h3>\n

Condition:<\/strong> NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder)<\/p>\n

Everybody loves Sonic \u2013 he\u2019s fast, slick and confident, yet his confidence sometimes gets the better of him.<\/p>\n

Sonic seems to deal with NPD, and despite his incredible speed, is often his downfall in sticky situations. He backs himself a little too much and always has to get the last word in, which leads to his capture more often than not.<\/p>\n

Master Chief<\/h3>\n

Condition:<\/strong>\u00a0Scopophobia<\/p>\n

Master Chief has his face plastered everywhere, however, he clearly has a case of Scopophobia, which is the fear of showing your face in public.<\/p>\n

Chief never removes his helmet, and basically nobody has seen his face since he was a young boy.<\/p>\n

What is Chief hiding? A grotesque uni-brow? A missing tooth? Or something more sinister?<\/p>\n
