Just over a week ago, EA launched the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (PC) beta program globally, with PC gamers around the world flooding servers to get hands-on time with the game pegged to replace Call of Duty 4 in the competitive gaming arena.<\/p>\n

Local servers were launched by the likes of iGame and Saix, and the 1.4GB download client required to play the game can be found locally on iGame’s FTP server<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In order to take part in the beta, gamers require a beta code which can only be acquired by preordering the game; a limitation which some gamers have taken issue with.<\/p>\n

iGame has provided Mygaming with two beta keys to give, and all you have to do to enter is choose a number between 1 and 200 and post it in the competition thread<\/a> in the MyGaming forums.<\/p>\n

Two numbers will then be chosen tomorrow at 1pm, and each user will receive a key allowing them free access to the beta.<\/p>\n

About Bad Company 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bad Company 2 is a first person shooter that will consist of a single player campaign as well as a fully developed multiplayer component. The game is set in a contemporary war setting, and will allow players to commandeer a variety of vehicles, including quads bikes, boats, tanks and helicopters.<\/p>\n

The game will make use of localised dedicated servers, which makes it ideal for local PC gamers as it should provide low latencies and stable connections.<\/p>\n
