EA and Maxis have announced that The Sims 4 is in development and will be arriving on PC and Mac in 2014.<\/p>\n

The Sims franchise has sold over 150 million copies worldwide, and continues to be prominent in the gaming release schedule thanks to the countless updates and expansions it receives.<\/p>\n
Developer Maxis has raised the ire of Sim fans in recent months with their poorly received and bug-riddled reboot of SimCity. It should be interesting to see how the studio handles the next entry in the beloved Sim franchise. DRM disguised as an always-on-internet social-meta-game requirement, perhaps?<\/p>\n
