EA labels president Frank Gibeau has announced that Disney has chosen EA to make new Star Wars games.<\/p>\n

Gibeau revealed that the EA studios working on Star Wars titles will include DICE, Visceral, and BioWare.<\/p>\n

The games will be “entirely original with all new stories” and will use DICE’s Frostbite 3 engine.<\/p>\n

Games will be in development for the gamut of devices, including PC, consoles, tablets, and mobile.<\/p>\n

Walt Disney Company acquired LucasFilm, LucasArts, and the Star Wars franchise back in October 2012 for a smidge over US$4-billion. In April 2013 Disney decided to close down LucasArts.<\/p>\n
