{"id":53747,"date":"2013-05-09T13:17:24","date_gmt":"2013-05-09T11:17:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=53747"},"modified":"2013-05-09T13:18:59","modified_gmt":"2013-05-09T11:18:59","slug":"help-revitalise-sa-devs-reload-kickstarter-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/53747-help-revitalise-sa-devs-reload-kickstarter-campaign","title":{"rendered":"Help revitalise SA dev&#8217;s Reload Kickstarter campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s only a couple more days for Kratos Software, a South African software development studio, to get full funding for their Reload Kickstarter campaign, which aims to end save game issues that PC gamers experience.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign is looking for $5,000, and is currently sitting on just over $1,300, so Kratos Software needs your help if you see Reload to benefit your gaming experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is Reload?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reload is a game save management system, which allows gamers to sync saves across multiple PCs, save to cloud storage platforms, as well as add in-game save and load options.<\/p>\n<p>Reload will aim to solve the problems with accidental deletes, hard drive crashes, and preventing quick save options from overwriting one another.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><b style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Manage all your saves from a single interface.<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"> No more Steam and Origin. No more messy user folder. Reload will copy your saves locally, to a network device, or even to a cloud-based storage facility.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Full control and ease of use.<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"> Save iteratively, whether the game allows it or not. Create your own in-game keybinds, to save and restore your progress whenever you feel like it. You decide how, and how often, your saves get stored.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Sync your saves.<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"> Play from where you left off, no matter what computer you are on.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Data maintenance.<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"> Game saves can take up a lot of space. Reload will manage this if you have space or bandwidth constraints. You decide which saves should be kept and which should be deleted.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Low on resources.<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"> Does its thing quietly and efficiently in the background.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">TLC.<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"> Developed by gamers, for gamers.
