Ubisoft has released its financial reports for the fiscal 2012-2013 year, and things are looking strong for the French publisher ahead of the new console generation.<\/p>\n

The company has announced that sales increased 18 percent to \u20ac1.25 million, while operating income nearly doubled from \u20ac56 million in the previous year to \u20ac100.3 million in 2013.<\/p>\n

Assassin\u2019s Creed III proved a solid title for the publisher, racking up 12.5 million in sales, while Far Cry 3 pulled in 6 million units sales. Just Dance 4 was also a good performer, selling 8.5 million units.<\/p>\n

Ubisoft is also looking positive about the 2014 forecast, with key titles like\u00a0 Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Watch Dogs, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and the two other mystery games providing a strong line-up for the publisher.<\/p>\n

“A new console cycle is beginning and it will offer players an unrivalled experience. They will see a major leap in quality with an extraordinary level of immersion as well as the incorporation of all of the innovations developed in recent years in online and social games, giving players the opportunity to create their own experiences and share them within their communities,\u201d concluded Ubisoft\u2019s Yves Guillemot.<\/p>\n
