{"id":54160,"date":"2013-05-20T10:42:12","date_gmt":"2013-05-20T08:42:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=54160"},"modified":"2013-05-20T10:43:36","modified_gmt":"2013-05-20T08:43:36","slug":"games-you-can-play-this-week-48","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/features\/54160-games-you-can-play-this-week-48","title":{"rendered":"Games you can play this week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week, a classic horror franchise returns, as Resident Evil Revelations HD hits consoles and PC, while the turbo-powered film franchise, Fast and the Furious, takes another spin at the video game world; but is it worth the ride?<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Resident Evil: Revelations HD (25 May 2013)<\/h3>\n<p>Resident Evil: Revelations HD is revamped version of the original 3DS game.<\/p>\n<p>Resident Evil: Revelations returns to the survival horror gameplay of earlier series installments, with returning elements such as a limited supply of ammunition, and more emphasis on exploration and puzzle solving.<\/p>\n<p>After getting some\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/features\/52886-resident-evil-revelations-hd-hands-on-preview.html\" target=\"_blank\">hands-on time with Resident Evil: Revelations HD<\/a>, it\u2019s hard not to recommend the handheld-to-console port of one of the strongest titles in the series.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6KwnEs6wpPw\" height=\"338\" width=\"600\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Fast &amp; Furious: Showdown (25 May 2013)<\/h3>\n<p>For all the die-hard Vin Diesel fans out there, Activision\u2019s Fast &amp; Furious: Showdown releases this week to tie into the upcoming sixth film.<\/p>\n<p>The game will arrive on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and will obviously involve racing, however, the game allows the player to switch between roles \u2013 driver, gunman, tactician, and daredevil.<\/p>\n<p>The game will feature two-player co-op for a number of action-packed missions, presumably allowing one player to drive while the other hangs out the window as the shooter.<\/p>\n<p>Fast &amp; Furious: Showdown will have \u201csome of the hottest vehicles and race across epic locations around the globe\u201d.
