In another I-didn’t-mean-to-tweet-that story, an EA dev made an unflattering comment about Nintendo\u2019s Wii U console, the very console that they have developed for.<\/p>\n

Bob Summerwill, software engineer at EA Sports\u2019 Canada studio said that: “The Wii U is crap. Less powerful than an Xbox 360. Poor online\/store. Weird tablet.”<\/p>\n

“Nintendo are still operating like it’s 1990,” added Summerwill.<\/p>\n

Summerwill then deleted the tweets, but one internet-second is too long to try and hide something.<\/p>\n

The Wii U hasn\u2019t had the best support from big-name game publishers since its launch, and last week, EA\u2019s Jeff Brown raised some doubts about EA\u2019s dedication to the console.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have no games in development for the Wii U currently,\u201d said EA\u2019s Jeff Brown. Brown also didn\u2019t say whether the publisher will continue development projects for the console in the future.<\/p>\n

In other Nintendo news, the company just announced a run of three Sonic games exclusive to Nintendo platforms: Sonic exclusives heading to Nintendo platforms<\/a><\/p>\n
