Warner Bros and Techland have announced Dying Light, a first-person survival horror game that features (you guessed it) zombies.<\/p>\n
But don\u2019t make up your mind too quickly, as Dying Light features a large open world and has a heavy emphasis on traversal and free-running, which from the screens, looks similar to Mirror\u2019s Edge.<\/p>\n
The game is currently in development for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, and PC.<\/p>\n
Dying Light will also see a dynamic day-night cycle, which will have an effect on the game\u2019s enemies.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring the day, players will traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population. At night, the hunter becomes the hunted, as the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Most frightening are the predators which only appear after sundown. Players must use everything in their power to survive until the morning\u2019s first light.\u201d<\/p>\n
The free-running aspects of the game are said to offer \u201cnearly unrestricted exploration\u201d while the weapon-crafting will be integral to your survival.<\/p>\n
