{"id":54495,"date":"2013-05-28T11:08:04","date_gmt":"2013-05-28T09:08:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=54495"},"modified":"2013-05-28T11:11:49","modified_gmt":"2013-05-28T09:11:49","slug":"mojangs-scrolls-trailer-unveiled-open-beta-imminent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/pc\/54495-mojangs-scrolls-trailer-unveiled-open-beta-imminent","title":{"rendered":"Mojang\u2019s Scrolls trailer unveiled, open beta imminent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mojang, developer of Minecraft fame, is at work on its next game, Scrolls, and has announced that the game will be going into open beta on 3 June 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike Minecraft\u2019s block-building focus, Scrolls takes the form of a card-battling game, which features some RPG elements.<\/p>\n<p>The game will be coming to PC and Mac\u00a0 for $20 (R194).<\/p>\n<p>Scrolls\u00a0was originally conceived and developed by Jakob Pors\u00e9r, who worked alongside Minecraft progenitor Markus Persson, for a game that was currently missing from the market. The game uses the Unity engine.<\/p>\n<p>The developer has also released a new trailer for Scrolls.
