Originally known as Overstrike, Insomniac\u2019s four-person co-op shooter has had a serious overhaul, and is now called Fuse.<\/p>\n

The sci-fi action game is releasing this week (31 May), but you should you take notice of Insomniac and EA\u2019s new endeavour.<\/p>\n

The game is currently doing pretty well on the review front (see MyGaming\u2019s Fuse review roundup<\/a>), and if you\u2019re looking to pre-order, there are a few options available.<\/p>\n

Fuse follows\u00a0follows four CIA agents who each have unique skill sets and (in typical Insomniac fashion) crazy over-the-top weaponry.<\/p>\n

Dalton Brooks, Izzy Sinclair, Jacob Kimble, and Naya Deveraux are the only things standing between humanity and a deadly alien energy source called Fuse, which a paramilitary organisation called Raven is trying to get its hands on.<\/p>\n

Players will be able to switch from agent to agent to command the upper hand on the battlefield and have access to\u00a0extraordinary\u00a0Fuse-powered weapons that can be combined for a\u00a0devastating\u00a0effect.<\/p>\n
