The Last of Us has already received a\u00a0shining review<\/a>\u00a0(despite breaking embargo), but there are still some question surrounding its multiplayer; and Naughty Dog has finally pulled back the curtain on the game\u2019s online component.<\/p>\n

The multiplayer of The Last of Us is called \u201cFactions\u201d, and features two game types \u2013 Supply Raid and Survivors.<\/p>\n

Both game types feature up to four players per team and can be played across seven maps.<\/p>\n

The first game type, Supply Raid, requires teams to fight for supplies, while Survivors calls for players to eliminate one another in a last-man-standing style fight, with eliminated players sitting out until the end of the round.<\/p>\n

Players can craft and heal with supplies found in multiplayer matches.<\/p>\n

There are four load-outs available \u2013 assault, sniper, support and stealth – and characters are also customisable with different clothing and gestures, along with boosters and perks that can be unlocked.<\/p>\n
