{"id":54835,"date":"2013-06-05T13:40:50","date_gmt":"2013-06-05T11:40:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=54835"},"modified":"2013-06-05T13:41:39","modified_gmt":"2013-06-05T11:41:39","slug":"double-fines-massive-chalice-is-another-kickstarter-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/54835-double-fines-massive-chalice-is-another-kickstarter-success","title":{"rendered":"Double Fine&#8217;s Massive Chalice is another Kickstarter success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Double Fine\u2019s second Kickstarter-backed game, Massive Chalice, has already exceeded its campaign goal.<\/p>\n<p>The game managed to rack up over $790,000 of its $725,000 goal in less than a week.<\/p>\n<p>Massive Chalice is described on the game\u2019s Kickstarter page as an \u201cepic, replayable turn-based tactics game where you train generations of heroes to repel a demonic invasion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Massive Chalice is said to take inspiration from classic strategy games like X-COM, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Fire Emblem.<\/p>\n<p>Brad Muir (pictured above) will helm the project.
