EA has generously given us 3 copies of the soon to be released Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for PS3 to give away to MyGaming forum members.<\/p>\n
The game is planned for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this Friday. The focus for many will be on the multiplayer component, although the game will ship with a dedicated single player campaign consisting of 13 missions. Bad Company 2 will take place in a contemporary setting, and will take players to a wide variety of locations, from snow capped mountains, to deserts and lush jungles.<\/p>\n
The gameplay will be based on that of the previous game, to which it is a direct sequel. One of the more interesting features that the game will support is destructible environments. Spot an enemy hiding on the third floor of a building? No need to bother with pin point sniper accuracy when an RPG will bring down the entire structure, killing any enemies in or around it. EA is calling this “Destruction 2.0”, and from what i saw in the beta, it is looking pretty cool.<\/p>\n
Players will also be able to pilot a variety of vehicles in Bad Company 2, including quad bikes, helicopters and tanks.<\/p>\n
