E3 has been quite the whirlwind of announcements, videos and controversy, and it’s easy to miss some of the awesome games that have been overshadowed. Here’s a list of some of the great games on show at E3 that deserve more attention.<\/p>\n

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze<\/h3>\n

It was speculated whether a Donkey Kong game would pop up or not, but Nintendo brought the goods on their Direct Stream, announcing that an HD side-scrolling Donkey Kong will be making its debut on Wii U.<\/p>\n

As expected, the game looks gorgeous and throws Donkey and Diddy into some colourful and diverse levels, where the perspective shifts at certain moments to give depth and dynamic angles of the gameplay and world.<\/p>\n

\"Donkey<\/a><\/p>\n

The Order: 1886<\/h3>\n

The Order: 1886 is a new title from developer Ready at Dawn, who worked on previous handheld God of War games, and follows the story of an alternative history during the Industrial Revolution.<\/p>\n

In the game, you are a knight, a member of an ancient order, and you will take centre stage in this fight for mankind\u2019s survival. As the game takes place in an alternate history, you will be able to interact with re<\/p>\n

al-world historical characters who will aid you in your quest. You will see and navigate real places. You will not only be a witness, but have a hand in real events that have unfolded.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

Black Tusk Studios\u2019 new game<\/h3>\n

Microsoft Vancouver was re-branded to Black Tusk Studios in December 2012 and was tasked with creating the \u201cnext Halo\u201d.<\/p>\n

No one has known what they\u2019re actually working on, but the studio released a teaser for their upcoming game (whether it\u2019s the \u201cHalo-killer\u201d project or not), and it looks pretty interesting.<\/p>\n

The teaser shows a espionage-like scene with a character repelling down a building, before smashing through a window, taking out a guard and loading up a futuristic pistol.<\/p>\n

\"Black<\/a><\/p>\n

D4<\/h3>\n

D4 was another game that slipped by on the E3 radar. It is being developed by ACCESS Games, who were behind the horror game Deadly Premonition.<\/p>\n

D4 is an episodic noir adventure, which focuses on the story of a detective who has a peculiar ability to jump back in time.<\/p>\n

The detective needs to solve his wife\u2019s murder, and then go back in time to prevent it from ever happening.<\/p>\n

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot<\/h3>\n

One of the announcements that was shamelessly overlooked was The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot.<\/p>\n

The incredibly-named title received a hilarious trailer and gameplay voiceover for its debut at the Ubisoft conference.<\/p>\n

The game looks to be a multiplayer castle-raiding tower-defense hack-n-slash hybrid affair, and if the humour carries through to gameplay, we\u2019ll keeping an eye out for this one.<\/p>\n
