<\/p>\nE3 2013 has produced some pretty big announcements and demonstrations of games that we have been dying to see; and while the fire from the event is still simmering down, here are MyGaming’s top 5 picks of the show:<\/p>\n
InFamous 2 was an incredibly solid game, and a follow-up in the franchise is definitely needed. We\u2019re anticipating the release of the PS4 and InFamous: Second Son, because it looks like another superhero origin story that we\u2019re keen to explore.<\/p>\n
The game follows Delsin Rowe, a young man who\u2019s been gifted (or cursed?) with the power of manipulating fire and smoke. Delsin can turn himself into smoke to move through the environments and give him an advantage in combat.<\/p>\n
Delsin won\u2019t have it easy though, as many other people in the city are developing powers and his abilities will be pushed to the limit in order to survive.<\/p>\n
On top of the intriguing premise, the game looks absolutely gorgeous and we can\u2019t wait to get our hands on Second Son.<\/p>\n

One of the most exciting games that was long overdue for a a demonstration was Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.<\/p>\n
Despite being overlooked by many, the first Lords of Shadow became the best-selling Castlevania game ever, and featured a great mix of different gameplay ideas.<\/p>\n
Lords of Shadow 2 takes place after the events of LoS, where players will take control of Dracula himself in the modern day, earning back his powers and abilities in order to survive some imaginative and fearsome creatures.<\/p>\n
The fact that this game looks so good and isn\u2019t a next-gen title is astonishing, and we can\u2019t wait to dip our fangs into this dark sequel.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s strange to think that Batman: Arkham Origins got overshadowed by E3\u2019s other announcements, but the fact is that it did.<\/p>\n We\u2019re still incredibly excited for Arkham Origins, and by the look of the gameplay demonstrations, the excitement is justified.<\/p>\n The gameplay looks tightened up and refined from the previous effort, while the new weapons, such as a hook that pulls two enemies together, will add a lot of strategy (and laughs) to the way you approach combat and stealth situations.<\/p>\n We\u2019re excited to see what WB Montreal have done with Rocksteady\u2019s bat-winged baby.<\/p>\n How can one not be excited about a South Park RPG?<\/p>\n South Park: The Stick of Truth may have had a speed-bump with the bankruptcy of THQ, but Ubisoft picked up Obsidian\u2019s over-the-top and crude adventure, and it\u2019s not looking to disappoint.<\/p>\n The game is written and voiced by series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and will require players to arm themselves in order to defeat the crabpeople, underpants gnomes, goddamn hippies, and other forces of evil.<\/p>\n After Assassin\u2019s Creed III didn\u2019t quite satiate the face-stabbing cravings around the MyGaming office, Assassin\u2019s Creed 4 has instilled some hope in us for Ubisoft\u2019s next effort.<\/p>\n The gameplay demonstration showed us some of the new tricks Edward Kenway will have up his sleeve.<\/p>\n The demo also showed how the game will move seamlessly from the on-land assassination segments to the on-sea naval battles.<\/p>\n It\u2019s difficult to not be excited for Black Flag.<\/p>\n Cool E3 games you may have missed<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n![\"Castlevania](\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Castlevania-Lords-of-Shadow-2.jpg\")
