Earlier in the week, Ellen Page responded to a question regarding the similarities between her and Ellie from The Last of Us<\/a>, which caused a little bit of a stir around the interwebs; but Naughty Dog and the Inception actress have shown that there\u2019s no bad blood.<\/p>\n

Page\u2019s original answer to the question came during her Reddit AMA; when asked by a Reddit user if she had noticed the similarities between her own appearance and Ellie\u2019s, Page had the following to say:<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess I should be flattered that they ripped off my likeness, but I am actually acting in a video game called Beyond Two Souls, so it was not appreciated.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Naughty Dogs\u2019 side, the developer has previously said that they tried to make Ellie\u2019s likeness represent that of Ashley Johnson, the young voice actor who played Ellie.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter delving further into the game\u2019s narrative over the past few months, we decided to modify Ellie\u2019s model to better reflect Ashley\u2019s personality, and also resemble a slightly younger teen more fitting to the story,\u201d said creative director Neil Druckmann last May.<\/p>\n

Anyway, all is said and done and the world will keep turning.<\/p>\n
