Valve has updated its Source engine, which adds support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality goggles, and adds mods support for Mac and Linux Source engine game.<\/p>\n

Source SDK 2013 also adds SteamPipe support, which is Steam\u2019s new content delivery system, allowing for faster load times for games, maps and mod installations.<\/p>\n

The Oculus Rift support is one of the big additions, as running a compatible mod with -vr on the command line will run the mod in stereo and enable head tracking on the Rift; the only problem being: you need an Oculus Rift.<\/p>\n
