One of the most-anticipated games of the year was undoubtedly The Last of Us, and after receiving some glowing review scores<\/a>, the game has gone on to sell over 3.4 million copies \u2013 not bad for a PS3 exclusive.<\/p>\n

This means that Naughty Dog\u2019s apocalyptic survival game is the best selling PS3 game of 2013, more than this year’s other exclusives such as God of War: Ascension, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and the brilliant Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese sales figures are a testament to the blockbuster quality of The Last of Us,\u201d said Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe teams at Naughty Dog are true visionaries and their storytelling capabilities are second to none, this title is an undisputed demonstration of that,\u201d<\/p>\n

The sales figure is great news for Naughty Dog, who did have to deal with some unlucky PR regarding Ellen Page\u2019s comments<\/a> (which were then clarified<\/a>) and an\u00a0artist accusing Naughty Dog of stealing<\/a>.<\/p>\n
