{"id":56158,"date":"2013-07-10T12:48:11","date_gmt":"2013-07-10T10:48:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=56158"},"modified":"2013-07-15T18:29:31","modified_gmt":"2013-07-15T16:29:31","slug":"xbox-live-game-prices-will-be-going-up-beta-feedback","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/xbox\/56158-xbox-live-game-prices-will-be-going-up-beta-feedback","title":{"rendered":"Xbox Live game prices will be going up: beta feedback"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft is currently testing the beta of its new Xbox 360 dashboard, and with it comes the dropping of Microsoft Points in exchange for the actual currency system.<\/p>\n<p>The update will transfer XBL beta users\u2019 current Points into their respective regional currency the moment you try and make a purchase.<\/p>\n<p>The issue identified is that the converted MS Points value doesn\u2019t correlate with the new Xbox Live game price points, according to users participating in the beta.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1600MSP games are now \u00a314.99; previously this was the equivalent of \u00a313.60<\/li>\n<li>1200 MSP games are now \u00a311.99, previously \u00a310.20<\/li>\n<li>800 MSP games are now \u00a38.99, an even bigger increase &#8211; previously this was \u00a36.80<\/li>\n<li>400 MSP games are now \u00a34.49, previously \u00a33.20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So the conclusion is that spending your MS Points before the new update is probably the best option.
