{"id":5630,"date":"2010-03-22T15:16:00","date_gmt":"2010-03-22T13:16:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"killzone-3-it-s-official","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/5630-killzone-3-it-s-official","title":{"rendered":"Killzone 3 \u2013 it\u2019s official"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In one of the most unsurprising announcements ever made, SCEA president Jack Tretton told <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gametrailers.com\/episode\/gametrailers-tv\/88?ch=1&amp;sd=1\" target=\"_blank\">GameTrailers <\/a>that Killzone 3 is currently in development.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We own Guerrilla [Games] and they did a great job on Killzone 1 and 2. I don&rsquo;t know whether you&rsquo;ll see announcements about it [at E3], but I can promise you a Killzone 3.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rumours emerged earlier this month that Sony would be showing off Killzone 2 at E3, and also that the game would support 3D visuals as well as the PlayStation Move.<\/p>\n<p>Official PlayStation Magazine is also guilty of rumour mongering, with reports that Killzone 3 being deep in developments being attributed to the magazine late last year. This is the first official comment that Sony has given on the game.<\/p>\n<p>Killzone 2 remains one of the PS3&rsquo;s most flaunted exclusive properties.
