A teenager in line to inherit a huge fortune has killed his father with a weapon he said was inspired by Capcom\u2019s Dead Rising 2.<\/p>\n

Andreu Tur Coll, 18, confessed to murdering his father with a spiked bat that he created to imitate the zombie-slaying weapon in the Dead Rising sequel.<\/p>\n

Andreau\u2019s accomplice, Francisco Zaragoza Abbas Rodriguez, 20, is also an avid Call of Duty gamer, and it is reported that the two met online while playing the game.<\/p>\n

Police say Andreu\u2019s father was struck with the spiked-bat 40 times.<\/p>\n

Andreu was the heir to a \u20ac50 million fortune, which his father built from the sale of arcade and gambling machines.<\/p>\n

“After killing my father, Francisco and I thought we would live better, which would end the harassment”, confessed Andreu, speaking of the apparent psychological abuse from his father.<\/p>\n

The two had apparently been plotting to kill Andreu\u2019s father for some time, at one point trying to slip a huge dosage of sleeping pills into a cake.<\/p>\n
