<\/p>\nReview aggregation site Metacritic has released a list detailing the top 25 PC games of 2013 as of 1 July 2013.<\/p>\n
The list includes expansions and indie games, which rank highly among the triple-A mainstream releases.<\/p>\n
Anyone who has played Bioshock Infinite can say that the game is arguably the best of the year (so far).<\/p>\n
Irrational Games delivered an exciting new experience in the Bioshock universe, but kept intact all the things that helped gamers fall in love with the series.<\/p>\n
The shooting is tight, the Vigor mechanics made combat interesting, the visuals were breath-taking, and most of all, the story\u00a0 managed to surprise, please and get gamers brains running on overdrive.<\/p>\n

Fez has won numerous industry accolades celebrating it\u2019s awesome indie-ness, and its PC release has finally given it the chance to woo some keyboard and mouse fans.<\/p>\n
Fez won the \u201cExcellence in Visual Art\u201d award at the Independent Games Festival in 2008, Story\/World Design and Grand Jury, at IndieCade in 2011, and \u201cSeamus McNally Grand Prize\u201d at the Independent Games Festival in 2012.<\/p>\n
Aside from the visuals, the 2D puzzle-platformer uses a unique mechanic to rotate its world in a 3D plane, thereby revealing hidden and inaccessible areas, or completely changing the dynamic of a level.<\/p>\n
For those who may not know of The Swapper, the game features a unique art style that uses real-world clay-models and found objects to create an explorable space station.<\/p>\n Gameplay sees players swap between different bodies to achieve otherwise impossible tasks, if you\u2019re looking for great puzzles and an interesting story, then you\u2019re in the right place.<\/p>\n Heart of the Swarm brings with it more units, more buildings, and some heavy-duty tweaks to the fan-favourite strategy game, and it\u2019s no surprise that it sits on the highest-rated list.<\/p>\n For the hardcore, the seemingly insignificant additions (such as extra units) have completely revised the structure of how Starcraft 2 is played.<\/p>\n Tomb Raider\u2019s reboot this year marked a high point for the series which has undergone some tough times in recent years.<\/p>\n Square Enix did a phenomenal job at reinventing the female treasure hunter, to make her a more relatable and somewhat likeable heroin.<\/p>\n The game may have taken some tips from Uncharted, but its put itself into a frame of its own.<\/p>\n 6.
