{"id":56923,"date":"2013-08-01T12:25:09","date_gmt":"2013-08-01T10:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=56923"},"modified":"2013-08-01T12:26:51","modified_gmt":"2013-08-01T10:26:51","slug":"star-wars-battlefront-release-window-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/56923-star-wars-battlefront-release-window-revealed","title":{"rendered":"Star Wars: Battlefront release window revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EA has revealed the release period for the Star Wars: Battlefront revival.<\/p>\n<p>The game is scheduled to release in Summer 2015, which will tie up with the release of the next Star Wars movie, being directed by JJ Abrhams.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[It] will most likely come out around the same time as the Star Wars movies start to come out, probably in the summer of &#8217;15&#8221;, said \u00a0EA CFO Blake Jorgensen.<\/p>\n<p>Revealed at E3 2013, EA and DICE confirmed that they are in fact working on a new Star Wars: Battlefront entry, following EA\u2019s acquisition of the Star Wars game rights.<\/p>\n<p>DICE aired a small clip of the game, which showed the battle of Hoth from the perspective of a foot soldier.
