{"id":56999,"date":"2013-08-05T12:35:13","date_gmt":"2013-08-05T10:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=56999"},"modified":"2013-08-05T12:38:14","modified_gmt":"2013-08-05T10:38:14","slug":"free-uncapped-adsl-from-fnb-details","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/broadband\/56999-free-uncapped-adsl-from-fnb-details","title":{"rendered":"Free uncapped ADSL from FNB: details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>First National Bank (FNB) has unveiled a new structure for its banking rewards programme, which includes up to a 100% discount for an uncapped ADSL product.<\/p>\n<p>The rewards are only set to become active on Thursday, 8 August 2013.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019re pushing for earlier, but the rewards will be active on the 8th at the latest,&#8221; said Farren Roper, head of the FNB Connect Internet service provider (ISP).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dhTuiDoYlx8\" height=\"338\" width=\"600\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Pricing and ADSL account details<\/h3>\n<p>Roper confirmed that the pricing on their website is for a data account only, and excludes the access fees payable to Telkom.<\/p>\n<p>Roper said that they will limit throughput on BitTorrent and other peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, but other services will remain unshaped. Users can also check their current reward level there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAugust discounts will be based on July behaviour,\u201d Roper said.<\/p>\n<p>In brief, customers earn points for certain behaviour, including doing all their banking electronically and signing up for electronic communications from FNB rather than physical options.<\/p>\n<p>You also earn points depending on how many FNB products you hold, and how much you spend in certain places.<\/p>\n<p>The table below shows the points needed to access the various reward levels, as well as the discounts on FNB\u2019s uncapped ADSL product unlocked at those levels.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that level 4 is the maximum uncapped ADSL reward for Gold, Islamic Gold, and Encore Cheque Accounts.<\/p>\n<div class=\"table-responsive\"><table class=\"table\" style=\"background-color: #f4f4f4;
