Will Wright, former SimCity and Sims guy, has double-teamed with former Spike TV and Nickelodean guy Albie Hecht, and is working on a TV show dubbed “The Creation Project”. According to IGN, it’s a “TV series about the creation of a TV series”, one of those brain-boggling concepts that’s going to have stupid people counting stuff out on their fingers everywhere when it launches later this year.<\/p>\n
It looks like there’s some audience participation involved too – the sort of audience participation where the audience actually comes up with everything. There’s apparently a online\/mobile device component, dubbed “StoryMaker Engine”, that people can use to rapidly prototype ideas and storyboards and submit these to producers.<\/p>\n
That’s the idea, anyway. If it’s anything like Wright’s last project (Spore), anything could change. Including just about everything.<\/p>\n
