games, peripherals: retailers drop prices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South African retailers have launched a variety of new gaming specials in an attempt to keep prices reasonable for SA consumers.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the recent Rand fluctuations, MassMart (Game, DionWired, Makro) explained that price increases will be the last resort over any other solution for the retailers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTypically in this environment both retailers and suppliers alike are hesitant to move pricing upwards and will only do so when all other options have been exhausted,\u201d said a Mass Discounters spokesperson. \u201cSuppliers will be expected to absorb some of the effect and retailers would do the same and so ultimately consumers will typically not see the real or full impact of the currency weakness in the final retail pricing.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Animeworx<\/h3>\n<p>Animeworx has a number of gaming specials on offer, with the Limited Edition of Dark
