{"id":57153,"date":"2013-08-12T11:17:29","date_gmt":"2013-08-12T09:17:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=57153"},"modified":"2013-08-12T11:18:51","modified_gmt":"2013-08-12T09:18:51","slug":"xbox-one-live-gold-home-sharing-explained","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/57153-xbox-one-live-gold-home-sharing-explained","title":{"rendered":"Xbox One Live Gold home sharing explained"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Xbox chief product officer, Marc Whitten, has explained the restrictions (or lack thereof) with the sharing of Home Gold features on Xbox One.<\/p>\n<p>Whitten said that a gamer\u2019s console is tethered with their Gamertag, however, other users within the account holder\u2019s home can access the multiplayer, apps and other Gold features, even if they don\u2019t have their own Gold account.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo how it works is, on your console, anybody else on the console, whether it\u2019s a babysitter that\u2019s come over or a friend or your family, can participate in all the experiences like they\u2019re on Gold,\u201d\u00a0Whitten said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s with their gamertag so they\u2019re not on your gamertag, you don\u2019t even have to be there, they\u2019re not messing up your gamerscore or your storage or your queues or anything like that.
