It appears that Call of Duty Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward may be falling into disarray.<\/p>\n
Following the resignation\/firing of studio founders Vincent Zampella and Jason West several months ago the Activision owned studio has endured a number of walk outs. The most recent of these include lead designer Mackey McCandlish and Call of Duty series programmer Jon Shiring, only a week after two high ranking developers also chose to leave.<\/p>\n
“After almost 6 years at Infinity Ward, I resigned today,” revealed Shiring who added that “I’m incredibly proud of everything we accomplished and I’m going to miss everyone.”<\/p>\n
Naturally the recent announcement that Zampella and West are setting up a new studio has given way to rumours surrounding the resignations.<\/p>\n
In the meantime however Activision has filed a counter suit against Zampella and West claiming that the two “morphed from valued, responsible executives into insubordinate and self-serving schemers who attempted to hijack Activision’s assets for their own personal gain.”<\/p>\n
