Warner Bros. has confirmed that Batman: Arkham Origins will not be making its way to Xbox One and Playstation 4, and will only release on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC.<\/p>\n

The confirmation that the game will only be available on current-gen consoles and PCs came through the @BatmanArkham Twitter account, which said the upcoming game will only be available for \u201cannounced platforms\u201d.<\/p>\n

Developed by WB Games Montr\u00e9al, Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, where a bounty is put on Batman\u2019s head, giving every villain the inventive to try and take down Batman all in the same night.<\/p>\n

Recently, UK-based game studio Splash Damage also announced that it will be developing the multiplayer portion of Batman: Arkham Origins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Batman: Arkham Origins will release on 25 October 2013 on Wii U, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.<\/p>\n
