Gaming and society<\/h3>\n
Violence in video games and its effects on society was once again in the spotlight following the horrendous Sandy Hook massacre. The perpetrator Adam Lanza was reported to have been obsessed with video games<\/a>, and even used military FPS games to help plan his assault which resulted in the murder of 20 children and 6 staff members at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.<\/p>\n
