Activision has revealed the details on how eager virtual tea-baggers will upgrade their current-gen Call of Duty: Ghosts edition to the next-gen version.<\/p>\n
Players will be able to participate in the \u201cGame Ahead\u201d program, which allows gamers to purchase a dual-license for the digital version of Ghosts for Microsoft\u2019s current and future platform.<\/p>\n
The dual-license will be priced at $69.99 (R690*) and will allow users to access the current and next-gen versions of the game \u2013 so the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions, with the same option for the PS3 and PS4 versions yet to be announced.<\/p>\n
The transition from current to next-gen will keep the same gamertag and will carry stats and unlocks over from platform to platform.<\/p>\n
If players don\u2019t want to buy the dual-license from the get-go, the cost to upgrade will only be $10 (R98*).<\/p>\n
