No, not Bobby Kotick, he’s the general CEO, president and Board member for Activision Blizzard. Mike Griffith was formerly the president and CEO of Activision’s publishing division. <\/p>\n

Although Griffith stepped down last week Friday, his resignation was only revealed yesterday via paperwork<\/a> that was published online. <\/p>\n

While he will be stepping down from his role as CEO, Griffith will remain on as the vice-chairman of Activision Blizzard. <\/p>\n

According to the filing, “Duties as Vice-Chairman of Activision Blizzard include participating in Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board meetings and other internal strategy sessions; providing counsel to Activision Blizzard’s executive team; and providing services on key initiatives and projects, as requested by the CEO.” <\/p>\n

Griffith’s resignation comes as the legal dispute between Activision as Infinity Ward employees continues to escalate. <\/p>\n
