With anticipation for the rAge 2013 expo building, Megarom Interactive has announced that world-class Dota 2 player Danylo \u201cDendi\u201d Ishutin will be attending the expo.<\/p>\n

Dendi will be at rAge to meet fans and share his expertise and experience with the local gaming community.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited to have a player of Dendi\u2019s calibre attend rAge this year,\u201d said Jason Borea, Marketing Director at Megarom. \u201cIt\u2019s always great when we have international professional gamers visiting South Africa we hope that his professionalism and experience will rub off on our local players and inspire them to reach new heights”.<\/p>\n

Dendi currently plays for Na\u2019Vi, who were in The Dota 2 International final to win approximately $619,000 with his team.<\/p>\n

Owner of NAG magazine (who are behind the rAge expo), Michael James was also proud and excited regarding the announcement.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s always very exciting to host professional gamers at rAge. I think it encourages local players to get more involved in competitive gaming and helps them see what it takes to be one of the best in the world in person. The more this kind of thing happens the more it puts South Africa on the map,” said James.<\/p>\n

Dendi will be on a tight schedule at the show for various activities including signings, photos and stage presentations. Megarom will reveal the schedule closer to the time. BT Games will also be stocking Na\u2019Vi SteelSeries Products for purchase.<\/p>\n

rAge is taking place on 4-6 October. Day tickets are R70 per person, and R120 for the whole weekend.<\/p>\n
