With Watch Dogs looking to be the benchmark of graphical superiority for PCs and next-gen, one must not forget that the game is also releasing on current-generation consoles, and Ubisoft said that the Wii U version is actually a slightly better version than what you\u2019ll get on 360 and PS3.<\/p>\n
“I would say the Wii U version is pretty much in between what the current gen is and what the next gen is from a version standpoint,” said Ubisoft creative director Jonathan Morin.<\/p>\n
“It’s hard to position it. I would tend to say it’s maybe a bit closer to current gen than next gen for certain things but it’s a beautiful game on Wii U and it’s cool to play it just on the GamePad.”<\/p>\n
Morin also added that the core game itself is the same across the three current-gen platforms, but Watch Dogs has been optimised for the “the beast that is the Wii U GamePad.”<\/p>\n
Megarom Interactive has announced the South African release date for Watch Dogs \u2013 22 November 2013 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows PC, and WiiU.<\/p>\n
The game will also be available for PS4 and Xbox One on 29 November and 22 November respectively.<\/p>\n
