There are a horde of next-gen games on the horizon, and while we\u2019ve had a healthy information dose on the big-hitters, there are a we\u2019d like to see a whole lot more of.<\/p>\n

Dying Light<\/h3>\n

The team who brought you Dead Island are set to return with Dying Light, a first-person zombie survival game, but don\u2019t think it\u2019s \u201cjust another one\u201d in the genre.<\/p>\n

Dying Light features a large open world and has a heavy emphasis on traversal and free-running \u2013 think Mirror\u2019s Edge meets Left 4 Dead.<\/p>\n

The game will also see a dynamic day-night cycle, which will have an effect on the game\u2019s enemies, along with a weapon-crafting system, which will be integral to your survival.<\/p>\n

\"Dying<\/a><\/p>\n

The Order: 1886<\/h3>\n

The Order: 1886 is a new title from developer Ready at Dawn, who worked on the handheld God of War games. It follows the story of an alternative history during the Industrial Revolution.<\/p>\n

In the game, you are a knight, a member of an ancient order, and you will take centre stage in this fight for mankind\u2019s survival.<\/p>\n

As the game takes place in an alternate history, you will be able to interact with real-world historical characters who will aid you in your quest.<\/p>\n

You will see and navigate real places. You will not only be a witness, but have a hand in real events that have unfolded.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

The Division<\/h3>\n

The Division was one of the highlights of E3 2013, and is a new online open-world RPG for Xbox One, PS4, and now PC.<\/p>\n

The Division takes place in New York three weeks after a lethal virus, released on Black Friday, swept through the city.\u00a0Players have to scavenge and fight for their lives in order to survive in the now derelict city.<\/p>\n

The game plays out as a type of action-oriented MMO, where players will have to forge factions and teams (or go as lone-ranger) in order to gather resources and fight off foes.<\/p>\n

The game is scheduled for a late 2014 release.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Rainbow 6: Patriots<\/h3>\n

Rainbow 6: Patriots wowed everyone with a great tech demo of what was envisioned for the game<\/a>, however, not much has been shown since then.<\/p>\n

The next big instalment into the Rainbow Six series was also completely absent from Ubisoft\u2019s E3 2013 showing.<\/p>\n

We hope that Patriots is still in the works and looks something like that which was shown in the tech demo, and that it really does deliver a truly next-gen squad-based shooter experience.<\/p>\n

\"Rainbow<\/a><\/p>\n

Wolfenstein: The New Order<\/h3>\n

Wolfenstein has been out of the game for a few years, but the grandfather of first-person shooters is set to show that an old dog can also teach some new tricks.<\/p>\n

The game will be a cross-generational release, as it will drop on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and MyGaming got hands-on with the game at Gamescom<\/a> with some inspired results, but we want to see more.<\/p>\n

The New Order doesn\u2019t feel like any other shooter on the market. It\u2019s packed full of weight, meaty shooting, and really lets the players feel the gunfights, with some impressive audio work, great physics, and a solid cover system.<\/p>\n

\"Wolfenstein<\/a><\/p>\n
