target=\"_blank\">initial leaked images<\/a>, Activision and Infinity Ward have officially revealed Extinction mode for Call of Duty: Ghosts, which will pit a team of soldiers against an alien horde.<\/p>\n<p>Extinction is the \u201czombies\u201d of Ghosts, and is \u201c1-4 player cooperative game mode featuring a unique blend of fast-paced survival action, FPS base defense, scavenging and class levelling,\u201d according to the press release.<\/p>\n<p>The video shows players fending off giant beasts, while using tools to destroy the alien-hives, which likely spawn the oversized creepy-crawlies.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eNm5CmnYBzU\" height=\"339\" width=\"600\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The multiplayer will once again rope in millions of players who are likely already getting their trigger fingers ready and arguing about the best loadout.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, Infinity Ward reckons their player base\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/news\/59537-cod-players-arent-hardcore-gamers-infinity-ward.html\" target=\"_blank\" data-ctorig=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/news\/59537-cod-players-arent-hardcore-gamers-infinity-ward.html\" data-cturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/news\/59537-cod-players-arent-hardcore-gamers-infinity-ward.html&amp;sa=U&amp;ei=DuJoUvWmIsmFhQeo0oGICA&amp;ved=0CAcQFjAA&amp;client=internal-uds-cse&amp;usg=AFQjCNHeoGwdpt1sH6ViArFs9sgRj6wUog\">aren\u2019t exactly \u201chardcore\u201d gamers.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Call of Duty: Ghosts will launch on PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on 5 November 2013, Xbox One on 22 November, and PS4 on 29 November.<\/p>\n<h3
