Konami’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Ultimate Edition launched on Steam on 27 August 2013. However, the game is not currently available through the South Africa Steam store front.<\/p>\n
The package is quite enticing for PC gamers as it was highly rated by critics<\/a>, but only previously available on Xbox 360 and PS3 since October 2010.<\/p>\n The PC edition boasts spruced-up graphics and comes with two DLC expansion packs – Reverie and Resurrection.<\/p>\n At the time of writing, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Ultimate Edition is part of Steam’s Halloween sale, on 50% discount for $15 until 1 November.<\/p>\n A representative of Ster Kinekor Interactive, distributor of Konami products in SA, confirmed that the game isn’t available due to an issue at the FPB. Ster Kinekor said they are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.<\/p>\n MyGaming asked the FPB for comment, but the organisation did not respond by the time of publication.<\/p>\n For those interested in getting hands on the game (and any other not available due to region restrictions) there is a way around this<\/a> – although MyGaming does not recommend doing it (because we’re not shouldering any blame for locked Steam accounts).<\/p>\n
