Sony will be hosting a special Playstation 4 AllAccess event online and will be streaming the event to multiple online portals. The event will take place on 14 November at 11PM Eastern Daylight Time (5AM South African local time).<\/p>\n

The event was announced by GameTrailers journalist and Spike TV host Geoff Keighley. He announced that the premiere would take place in New York and would be broadcast live to all corners of the globe, despite several countries not receiving the Playstation 4 on the same day.<\/p>\n

No clues were given as to what the game\/games announcement will be, but Keighley noted in a post on the NeoGAF forums that it was an announcement that was worth waiting for.<\/p>\n

Ideas of what the announcement could be have ranged from a reveal of The last Guardian, an announcement from Naughty Dog, the inclusion of a PS Vita in PS4 bundles, Gears of War on the PS4, and more indie launch games.<\/p>\n

This is one of Sony’s last trump cards they are holding close to their chest and to play it an hour before the console’s launch is a big gamble. Whatever it is, it’s going to be big.<\/p>\n
