{"id":60033,"date":"2013-11-08T12:06:07","date_gmt":"2013-11-08T10:06:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=60033"},"modified":"2013-11-08T12:09:21","modified_gmt":"2013-11-08T10:09:21","slug":"xbox-one-gameplay-footage-using-ps4-pc-captures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/xbox\/60033-xbox-one-gameplay-footage-using-ps4-pc-captures","title":{"rendered":"Xbox One gameplay footage using PS4, PC captures?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some online videos have had their Xbox One direct feed captures replaced accidentally with footage from the Playstation 4 or a desktop PC.<\/p>\n<p>The videos were all uploaded on various channels on Youtube, one of which which belonged to Microsoft itself. The games that were affected were Battlefield 4, Need for Speed Rivals, and Watch_Dogs, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The Battlefield 4 footage was ostensibly made to represent gameplay on the Xbox One, but button prompts on the top-right corner clearly show a backspace key, indicating that it was being played on a PC. The Xbox logo was added into the footage on the top left of the footage.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NezzJ-chKhE\" height=\"340\" width=\"600\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The footage was used in a promotional video to advertise and inter-continental match between a team of American and European Battlefield 4 players on the Xbox One. There are also button prompts on the middle bottom screen indicating shortcuts to weapons assigned to number keys on the keyboard.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, the promotional video is still the only one currently available. The video in its original format showed button prompts for a Playstation 4 controller on the bottom right throughout the video.<\/p>\n<p>The video was later re-uploaded with the button prompts blacked out, but it was still clear that footage was being blocked and the UI was incomplete. Microsoft later removed the video from their account. The footage consists of Andrea&#8217;s interview with an EA representative and some off-screen gameplay. The video also flashes to stock footage that may or may not have been captured on the Xbox One.<\/p>\n<p>In the original version of the video uploaded online, however, the interview shifted back to stock footage, but this footage showed PS4 button prompts to the right above the speedometer. The video has since been removed from their Youtube channel, but an edited version is now on their website and the video is a second shorter with the gameplay segment at 3:31 changed to a different
