Telkom has begun upgrading existing ADSL customers to higher line speeds.<\/p>\n

1Mbps, 2Mbps, and 4Mbps ADSL products will be increased to 2Mbps, 4Mbps, and 10Mbps respectively.<\/p>\n

The upgrades are being done in phases. 4Mbps upgrades to 10Mbps<\/strong> are happening this week (11 – 18 November)<\/p>\n

2Mbps upgrades to 4Mbps<\/strong> will begin next week and continue into late December (18 November – 23 December).<\/p>\n

1Mbps upgrades to 2Mbps<\/strong> will start in January 2014.<\/p>\n

The delay in the 1Mbps upgrades are related to Telkom’s network freeze over the December 2013\/January 2014 period.<\/p>\n

The expected timeframe for each migration category is outlined in the table below.<\/p>\n
