This means you can connect the PS4 HDMI output to the Xbox One HDMI input, which is then passed through to the television, while the Xbox One UI remains usable overlaid on the image.<\/p>\n<p>According to the results of this little experiment, the Xbox One handled pretty much every input type it was challenged with, but Digital Foundry cannot recommend using this method to play games. The reason being that the Xbox One needs to do additional signal processing on its side to sync up the video and audio output to the television.
