{"id":60777,"date":"2013-12-04T16:31:40","date_gmt":"2013-12-04T14:31:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=60777"},"modified":"2013-12-04T16:35:59","modified_gmt":"2013-12-04T14:35:59","slug":"xbox-one-boasts-millions-and-billions-of-gaming-stats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/xbox\/60777-xbox-one-boasts-millions-and-billions-of-gaming-stats","title":{"rendered":"Xbox One boasts millions and billions of gaming stats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While Sony has been tooting its horn over the number of PlayStation 4 consoles it has sold &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/ps4\/60705-2-1-million-ps4-units-sold.html\">2.1-million PS4 units in a week apparently<\/a> &#8211; Microsoft has been keeping mum on its sales figures.<\/p>\n<p>The company did venture so far to say that it is selling every console it can make, and demand is exceeding supply &#8211; and this is quite possibly true &#8211; but it doesn&#8217;t give us much ammo in the next-gen console war.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps in an attempt to generate some exciting headlines for the Xbox One, Microsoft has released some cute, yet meaningless stats about the usage of the console so far.<\/p>\n<p>As of 3 December 2013, after roughly 11 days of availability:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Over 3 billion zombies have been killed in \u201cDead Rising 3\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Over 90 million miles were driven in \u201cForza Motorsport 5\u201d (equal to 3,673 trips around the world).<\/li>\n<li>Over 186 million enemies defeated in \u201cRyse: Son of Rome\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Over 150 million combos in \u201cKiller Instinct\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Over 415 million Gamerscore points achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Over 50 million hours spent in games and entertainment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;We are humbled and gratified by the overwhelming response from our fans to the launch of Xbox One. Eleven days in we are seeing record breaking sales and are selling every Xbox One we can make.
