Sony’s Playstation 4 console launches on 13 December in South African and just in time for the local launch, Sony has added several new games to the PSN store – and a few of them are free-to-play.<\/p>\n
One of Sony’s promises (and mandates to developers) is that games that hit retail stores should also be available to purchase online from the Playstation Network. Games such as Need for Speed: Rivals, Lego Marvel Superheroes, and even Knack all have been available on the store at the same time as their retail launch in the US and Europe.<\/p>\n
Despite this, there is a lack of system-sellers for the console and Sony aims to make up for the dry spell in the launch window with a selection of indie titles.<\/p>\n
The following games have been added onto the PlayStation Store and are purchasable by using a web browser to log into your account and add them to your downloads list.<\/p>\n

However, games that are paid-for and made available by AAA studios may have their multiplayer access behind the PlayStation Plus paywall.<\/p>\n Sony’s PlayStation 4 launches on 13 December 2013 at a starting price of R6,299. This includes the console with a 500GB hard drive, a Dualshock 4 controller, a bundled microphone, HDMI cable and USB charging cables.
