Turtle Rock Studios, developers of Valve’s Counter-Strike series and creators of Left 4 Dead, have announced their next game – Evolve.<\/p>\n

Coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 in mid 2014, the title will be sci-fi multiplayer shooter; squad-based action with a twist.<\/p>\n

A team of four player-controlled alien hunters will go up against a single player-controlled monster that becomes more powerful as the battle rage on.<\/p>\n

The alien hunters each have unique abilities and items, while the monster compensates for being outnumbered with an assortment of strong attacks and its overwhelming size.<\/p>\n

The game will be published by 2K Games, which acquired the IP for $10.8 million from the auction of THQ assets in 2013.<\/p>\n

Game Informer has the exclusive coverage lined up for the game, which will be fully revealed in their February 2014 edition, with regular updates on their Evolve hub<\/a>.<\/p>\n
