{"id":6135,"date":"2010-05-24T15:52:00","date_gmt":"2010-05-24T13:52:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"halo-reach-release-date-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/xbox\/6135-halo-reach-release-date-announced","title":{"rendered":"Halo: Reach release date announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>Just a few days after Bungie wrapped up the Halo: Reach beta, the studio has given us an official release date.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We can now confirm that the game will be released around the world on September 14.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A whopping 2.7 million people took part in the Reach beta, logging 16 million hours of gameplay, and a combined to total of 1.1 billion kills.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s exceeded our expectations,&#8221; Bungie&#8217;s Brian Jarrard commented.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our only real perspective going into this was the Halo 3 beta test, which had about 800,000 people.
