{"id":61388,"date":"2014-01-12T13:05:29","date_gmt":"2014-01-12T11:05:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=61388"},"modified":"2014-01-12T13:06:26","modified_gmt":"2014-01-12T11:06:26","slug":"portal-for-oculus-rift-demonstrated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/gadgets\/61388-portal-for-oculus-rift-demonstrated","title":{"rendered":"Portal for Oculus Rift demonstrated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At CES 2014, Oculus VR creative director Danny Woodall demonstrated the virtual reality headset Oculus Rift by playing a special version of Portal 2.<\/p>\n<p>The game has been modified slightly for use with the Oculus Rift; for example, the player is able to move an already placed portal for greater precision.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6DQu3QuRULU\" height=\"338\" width=\"600\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Woodall appears to be using an older prototype of the Oculus Rift.
