{"id":6149,"date":"2010-05-25T13:58:00","date_gmt":"2010-05-25T11:58:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"killzone-3-officially-announced-3d-confirmed-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/6149-killzone-3-officially-announced-3d-confirmed-update","title":{"rendered":"Killzone 3 officially announced- 3D confirmed [update]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Update<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.computerandvideogames.com\/article.php?id=248114\" target=\"_blank\">CVG<\/a>&nbsp;claims that one of their sources has confirmed that Killzone 3 will be released in May 2011.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Original<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just a day after leaked images of Killzone 3 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mygaming.co.za\/news\/ps3\/6131-Killzone-details-leaked.html\" target=\"_self\">showed up online<\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;Sony has officially announced Killzone 3.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The third chapter of the series will pick up where the second game left off. Sony is promising &ldquo;levels ten times bigger than in Killzone 2, this is Helghan like you&#8217;ve never seen it before.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;New toys&rdquo; were mentioned, as were new &ldquo;jetpack troopers.&rdquo; If yesterday&rsquo;s leak is accurate, then these new toys will include jetpacks that players will be able to pilot.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sony has also confirmed that the game will be fully 3D compatible, and will feature &ldquo;enemies wielding portable weapons of mass destruction.&rdquo; The prospect of jetpack combat in full 3D is pretty exciting.<\/p>\n<p>Another leaked infobyte doing the rounds is that there will be missions that take player in snow covered terrain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>No release date has been confirmed, although I will bet my Sixaxis controller that Sony will reveal a date at E3 next month, and that we will see Killzone 3 before the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sony announces Killzone 3.
