{"id":61670,"date":"2014-01-29T10:26:17","date_gmt":"2014-01-29T08:26:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=61670"},"modified":"2014-01-29T10:29:37","modified_gmt":"2014-01-29T08:29:37","slug":"sa-game-pixel-boy-heading-to-wii-u","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/61670-sa-game-pixel-boy-heading-to-wii-u","title":{"rendered":"SA game Pixel Boy heading to Wii U"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South African born game Pixel Boy is now officially being developed by Giant Box Games for release on the Nintendo Wii U.<\/p>\n<p>Giant Box Games is planning a Steam release in March or April 2014, and then Wii U later in the year.<\/p>\n<p>This is on top of the planned PC, Mac, and Linux version of the game that was recently <a title=\"Pixel Boy\" href=\"http:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/sharedfiles\/filedetails\/?id=93144574\" target=\"_blank\">Greenlit on Steam<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I have had plenty of time with PixelBoy in the past, and I think it&#8217;s a great game that will further put South African game development on the map.<\/p>\n<p>When I spoke to developer Dominic Obojkovits during rAge 2013, he hinted that we &#8220;may&#8221; see PixelBoy on consoles soon &#8211; consoles meaning more than one platform?
